Industrial origins in brief;
Very close to gothic fashion. In fact, the two are frequently mixed. One could almost say industrial is just an offshoot of goth (hence the term industro-goth.) Also borders close to cyber.
It stems from the industrial music listening crowd (think Rammstein fans, though Rammstein is not the only industrial band and certainly not the best.) A member of the industrial crowd is often referred to as a “rivethead”.
Judging;
If you partake in this fashion, don’t be surprised if people start walking to the other side of the street when they see you coming.
Looks like;
Military aesthetics are a VERY common occurrence. Combat boots (platforms are also huge), uniform-offshoots, camo, bullet belts, name it. Also common are gasmasks, goggles, spikes, buckles, etc. Black is the most common color. Shaved-heads and undercuts are popular hairstyles.
