Edwardian Fashion: A period in fashion during the very early 1900s in Europe. One of the styles that lolita takes its inspiration from.

Gothic & Lolita Bible A magazine/book that plays a big part in outlining the Japanese Lolita and Goth scene.
Gosurori:Japanese pronunciation for Gothloli
Guro Lolita / Gurololi: 'Gory lolita'. Any style of lolita with blood or bandages added--usually seen in punk or goth styles.
Headdress: A rectangular or an oval(er?) peice of cloth usually deccorated with ribons. It is worn atop the head with ribbons or strings to tie around the chin.
Ita Loli: “Itai” is the Japanese version of “ouch,” or an expression of pain. Therefore an “ita loli” is someone who is such a bad lolita, they are painful to look at.
Jumper Skirt (JSK): A sleeveless loli dress. Usually worn with a blouse, but not as a rule.
Kurololi: A lolita dressing completely in black—NOT a dark-skinned lolita. (Note: kurololi is not really it's own style.)
Lifestyle Loli: A lolita or a description of a lolita who purposefully participates in certain activities such as tea parties and sewing simply because they are very lolita.

Manifesteange Metamorphose temps de fille: A major Japanese lolita brand. Almost ALWAYS shortened to Metamorphose temps de fille, or Metamorphose, or just Meta. The name is French in origin, meaning something along the lines of "transformation into a little girl." 'Manifesteange' is a strictly made-up word.

One Peice (op): A loli dress WITH sleeves.
Parasol: A frilly umbrella that does not shield one from the rain, but rather the sun.
Petticoat: A big skurt of ruffles and lace usually worn under another skirt to add volume. Sometimes, however, petticoats can be worn by themselves.
Rockinghorse Shoes: Shoes with HUGE, wooden or cork platforms with a notch taken out of the back. Made popular by the punk designer, Vivienne Westwood.
Rococo: A period in the early 1800s, predominately in France. The Fashion was similar to Victorian fashion in splendor—extravagent gowns and an insane amount of effort in hair and makeup.
Rorita/Roriita: Japanese pronunciation of 'lolita'. In Japanese, there is no letter for an “L” sound, and so L sounds are substituted with the equivalent of our R sound.
Shirololi: A lolita dressed entirely in white. Not an actual style.
Victorian: Period of the later 1800s, just after the Edwardian period, in the United Kingdom and its colonies. The fashion is characterized by the wide skirts, usually maintained by a hoop skirt.
Wrist Cuffs: Looks like a bracelet made of lace.
