For those of us that live in the northern half of the state there are dramatic weather changes. Sometimes it’s difficult to pack away your favorite summer loli dress, but maybe you don’t have to...
Check out these tips for wearing your summer clothing in the winter (or perhaps you’re like me and just a little cold-sensitive.)
The most obvious: you could always put on a jacket. If you’re worried the jacket will cover up too much of that favorite outfit, leave it open.
Layer. Wear a shirt or a blouse underneath your favorite T’s, dresses, halters and tanks.
Leggings are an invaluable resource for dresses. Slip them on under any dress! Just make sure they’re leggings as opposed to footless tights, unless the weather doesn’t bother you much.
Shawls are really cute sometimes, and they’re pretty easy to make yourself.
Always remember things like high socks, leg warmers, and stylistic gloves, and scarves!
Hats are a great help—just keep in mind that not all establishments allow them indoors.
Keep in mind that black absorbs the most heat.
Invest in some knee-high boots if you’re going to go trouncing through the snow!
Last but not least… there’s always long underwear! ;D
