It's awfully difficult to dress alternatively when you don't know where to shop, huh? ;D And thus this page was created! Here you'll find the websites of all the retailers I'm aware of in the US.

Keep in mind! A lot of these stories sell clothing that could also fit in other genres (for example, I'd say Hot Topic is more punky than anything but some of their items are straight up goth). On this page I sorted them the best I could. If you're looking for aaall sites that might have a specific genre of clothing, perhaps you should click that genre in the about section. =)

A small selection of lolita clothing, some are avaliable for customization. The site is a little hard to read, though... A couple accessories.

Candy Violet
The first lolita brand in the US. Decent selection and some accesories. ;D

Dream Shoppe
Imports Aya, Angelic Pretty, Victorian Maiden, and magazines.

Chlothing Drop
Sells mostly lolita, but also some punk/goth clothing. Decent prices! All imports or second hand.

Apple Sugar
Very small selection, unfortunately! Punk and loli-themed.

Blasphemina's Closet
Not exactly traditional lolita--She frequently strays from the general guidlines of the style. If you're looking to try a more westernized lolita, I'd say go there. Woefully, the site is hosted on a free server and therfore INCREADIBLY slow!

Delirium Clothing / Kawaii
A fairly low-quality site that sells mostly gothic-esque, but this particular page is all lolita.

Super talented seamstress working all on her own. Gorgeous, just gorgeous!

Er, less than perfect selection. Let's just say I wasn't impressed.

The White Peacock
BEWARE! I've never heard a good review of this site. Only bad news: TERRIBLE quality and missing orders. I haven't had a chance to test it for myself, however.

Illuminescence
Selection is... eh. But I don't think she really studied up much on lolita fashion, and she does refer to her work as 'costumes'--even the lolita part.

Retroscope Fashions
Leans heavier on the Victorian goth scene than lolita. I've ordered a skirt from there before and was a little unimpressed with the details, but I would probably order from there again.

Selection iiiiis... meh. But it's pretty affordable.

A small selection, but has an active, frequently updated site.

Very respected, big selection--but shipping will cost a pretty penny. Not to mention the dress itself. Japanese in origin.

Expensive, but an easy way to get a hold of the Body Line compared to an errand service. Japanese in origin.

M Fashion
Not really a brand of it's own! Sells other brands, and has a second-hand (used) bin, from popular lolita deisgners, and even Vivienne Westwood. Site in English and German. Ships internationally, but prices are in euros! German(?) in origin.

My Import Store / Gothic Lolita
Imports Japanese brands. Located in Singapore.

Candy Fruit
Not much for the English store, and it's more maid-costume oriented than loli... but they do usually at least have a couple dresses and some accessories. Ships world-wide, but prices are in yen.

Closet Child
Sells second-hand loli and gothic/punk. Ships worldwide but good luck ordering--the entire site, except the English shopping rules located Here is in Japanese. Also, prices are in yen. Origin: Japan.

Milky Ange
Ships internationally, but site is in Japanese except for their international FAQ page. Japanese in origin.
